The Day of Monuments

Three Royal Menageries, two Clockmaker's Towers and a Colosseum rose in a single day β€” and bradskillz bought a Quarry with scratch-ticket luck.

It was a day for stonemasons. Across the realm the scaffolding came down on landmark after landmark: a Royal Menagerie opened its gates in three cities at once β€” Buzz Hollow 🏘️, XM Nexus, and πŸš€βš‘πŸ‘‘πŸ’ŽπŸ„ Smurftopia, Home of the Legendary Large Smurfs πŸ„πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘βš‘πŸš€ β€” while Clockmaker's Towers began keeping time over both Crimson's City and Smurftopia. Davetopia threw open The Colosseum, SpudVille consecrated a Grand Cathedral, πŸ— Build planted its Hanging Gardens, and Buzz Hollow raised a Hall of Champions. Twelve projects finished; thirteen more broke ground behind them.

In Skillzville, meanwhile, the story was less marble and more mortar. A Bank, a Trading Post and a Hunter's Lodge all reached Level 2 in a single day, and ground was broken on a Quarry before the dust settled. Its founder had a day to remember: bradskillz rose to Entrepreneur β€” the realm's signal that a player has stopped merely gathering and started trading β€” and, as if the ledgers themselves approved, pulled four winning scratch tickets worth 441, 438, 260 and 260 gold. The only tier promotion of the day, and it came with confetti.

The roads were busy under all that ceremony. Two new trade deals were struck, and the caravans already running moved 5,160 units across 72 routes in 168 legs β€” the quiet arithmetic that keeps a Royal Menagerie stocked and a Cathedral standing. Nine players sharpened their craft in the process, earning 24 tool levels between them.

Out at the hunting grounds it was, improbably, a day of near-perfect ties. Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ, Buzzaroo and GrumpyGecko each brought home a 144 lb Red Deer; Tyler matched them to the pound with a Musk Ox; and CrimTest1 came in a single pound shy at 143. Five hunters, five trophies, and barely a hair between them.

The standings close with πŸ— Build well ahead at 1,199, trailed by Buzz Hollow 🏘️ on 761, Crimson's City on 572, Smurftopia on 552 and XM Nexus on 484. But prestige told a different tale: XM Nexus drew six landmark visits and 154 prestige β€” the most in the realm β€” proving that the city that scores the most and the city that draws the most admirers need not be the same. Eighteen souls, ten cities, ten Tycoons, and four wanderers still out in the wilderness, watching the towers go up from a distance.

Ten Tycoons now walk the realm.

Monuments Rise as the Realm Builds Skyward

No new flags today, but the realm poured itself into stone β€” cathedrals, colosseums, and a run of trophy stags at the far grounds.

No new banners flew over the realm this past day, and no wanderer stepped in from the wild β€” but the ten standing cities were far from idle. Where the map held still, the skylines climbed. This was a day of monuments.

In XM Nexus the scaffolding came down from a Grand Cathedral, its first stones set and its doors thrown open. Buzz Hollow 🏘️ raised a Colosseum to first rank, while both SpudVille and Smurftopia completed a Falconry Mews apiece β€” and Smurftopia was already breaking fresh ground on a Royal Menagerie. In Skillzville the practical work carried on: a Market reached its second level to lift every citizen's wage, with a Bank now rising beside it.

Those new landmarks did not go unadmired. Buzz Hollow 🏘️ drew six callers and a full 240 prestige from them β€” the day's richest surge β€” while eleven visitors filtered through Crimson's City for 103, and πŸ— Build, Smurftopia, and SpudVille each gathered their own crowds at the gates. Prestige lifts every wage in a city, so an afternoon of guests pays the whole town.

The far hunting grounds were generous. Jensen, Buzzaroo, and GrumpyGecko each dressed a 144-pound Red Deer, Tyler hauled home a Musk Ox of the very same weight, and JΓΆrg was a single pound behind with a stag of his own β€” a near-perfect field of trophies. Fortune smiled at the counters too: Jensen scratched 290 gold and Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ pulled 253 more.

Beneath it all the ordinary engine hummed: 162 shipments carried 5,130 units along seventy routes, and ten hands earned 27 fresh tool levels between them. On the day's ledger πŸ— Build led with 970, ahead of XM Nexus at 798 and Buzz Hollow 🏘️ at 751. A quiet map, a busy realm β€” and a skyline a little taller than yesterday's.

Skillzville Lays Its Foundations as the Champions Gather

A brand-new town raises a dozen rooftrees in a day, bradskillz makes Developer, and 5,130 units of goods rolled the trade roads.

Somewhere on the map this past day, a patch of open ground became a town. Skillzville raised its Town Hall to its second storey and, in the same rush of work, broke ground and finished a full first street of it β€” a Sawmill, a Mine, a Coal Shaft, a Textile Mill, a Trading Post, and a Hunter's Lodge, all newly roofed. Few cities show their bones so plainly; fewer still lay them all at once.

At the heart of that surge was bradskillz, who crossed into the Developer tier β€” the moment a settler earns the right to craft and to build β€” and then, as if the day owed him a wink, pulled a 430-gold windfall from a scratch ticket, the fattest single stroke of luck in the realm today.

Elsewhere the established houses polished their prestige. πŸ— Build unveiled both a Hall of Champions and a Botanical Conservatory, drew twenty-four admiring visitors, and topped the day's board at 1334. Smurftopia answered with a Grand Cathedral and a Cartographers' Guild, while Buzz Hollow set its Hanging Gardens to bloom. In the counting-houses, Crimson's City and SpudVille each raised a Bank to the Industrial fourth level, and Davetopia shelved out a fourth-level Library beside a new Customs House to sell its surplus.

The roads themselves were busy even where no new bargain was signed: 5,130 units of goods moved across 70 standing routes in 162 shipments, the quiet machinery of deals struck on earlier days still humming. And ten pairs of hands ground their tools sharper, forty-two masteries earned between them.

Out past the tree line, the hunters came home heavy. Jensen, Tyler, and Buzzaroo each hauled back a 144-pound trophy β€” a Red Deer, a Musk Ox, another Red Deer β€” with JΓΆrg and GrumpyGecko a single pound behind. AMKS, meanwhile, worked the scratch tables to a lather, drawing three big prizes in a row. A generous day for the bold and the lucky alike.

Scaffolds Everywhere, and Six at Once in Skillzville

Monuments rose in five cities, a Red Deer nearly tied the realm's heaviest catch, and Skillzville broke ground on six buildings in a single day.

It was a day for scaffolding. Across the realm, ten cities woke to the sound of hammers, and by the time the dust settled the skyline had changed in five of them. Buzz Hollow 🏘️ raised a Grand Cathedral β€” broken ground and finished inside the same day, which is the sort of thing a city only manages when everyone is pulling the same rope. XM Nexus answered with two at once, the Hanging Gardens and The Colosseum, while πŸ— Build topped out its own Colosseum and a Falconry Mews besides. Crimson's City and SpudVille each opened a Botanical Conservatory and a Cartographers' Guild, as though they'd read one another's plans over a shoulder. Over in Smurftopia, the ground was broken for a Grand Cathedral of its own β€” a promise for another day.

But the loudest yard in the realm belonged to Skillzville, which did not so much start building as start everything. Six projects broke ground and six were finished: a Quarry, a Clay Pit, a Farm, a Bank, a Market, and a Library. A city that had nothing on its map yesterday now has bread, brick, books, and a place to keep its coin. And the day was kind to bradskillz personally, too β€” a rise to Citizen, the tier that can never be taken back, and a scratch ticket that paid out 204 gold on the way home. Some days simply arrive with their pockets full.

Davetopia quietly did the heaviest lifting of anyone: its Bank reached Level 4, Industrial-era work, the kind of upgrade that costs a mountain and pays it back an hour at a time.

The hunting grounds ran hot and strangely close. Tyler came home heaviest with a 144 lb Musk Ox β€” and Buzzaroo matched him pound for pound with a 144 lb Red Deer. Behind them, GrumpyGecko at 143, AMKS at 142, and Karen at 141, all Red Deer, all within three pounds of one another. Four hunters, four near-identical trophies, no two of them in the same wood. The realm's tools sharpened alongside them: 31 tool levels earned across 11 players.

No new deals were signed today, but the old ones did not sleep β€” 5,130 units moved along 70 routes in 162 shipments, the steady heartbeat of a realm that has already agreed on its bargains and simply keeps them. Above it all, the standings sit knife-thin: XM Nexus leads on 787 with πŸ— Build breathing at 766, the two of them also trading blows on prestige β€” 394 to 313, twenty-one visitors to nineteen. Crimson's City holds third at 567, Davetopia 492, Buzz Hollow 🏘️ 480. Twenty-one points between first and second. Tomorrow decides nothing gently.

Davetopia Industrializes as a Tenth City Rises

Davetopia finished a Level 4 Lodge and Market in a single day, bradskillz founded Skillzville, and Tyler had the luckiest day in the realm.

Ten cities now stand in the realm. The tenth is Skillzville, broken open this past day by bradskillz β€” a name on a map where yesterday there was only open country. No fanfare, no stockpile, no walls yet: just a founder and the long climb ahead of him. Every city on today's leaderboard started exactly there.

The loudest hammers belonged to Davetopia, which broke ground on two Industrial-era projects and finished them both before the day was out. Its Hunter's Lodge reached Level 4 β€” the level where the Lodge stops waiting to be told and hires standing hunting parties of its own, mounting provisioned trips every hour without a single tap. Its Market rose to Level 4 in the same breath, lifting the wage of every citizen who works there. SpudVille matched the Market half of that feat, taking its own to Level 4. A quiet kind of milestone: the buildings that pay everyone else.

Not one new trade deal was signed today β€” and yet the caravans never stopped. 162 shipments rolled across 70 standing routes, moving 5,130 units of goods between cities on agreements struck on earlier days. That is what a mature realm looks like: the negotiating is done, and the wheels simply turn.

In the field, Tyler had the sort of day players tell stories about β€” a 144 lb Musk Ox, the heaviest trophy in the realm today, and then two scratch tickets that came up big, 290 and 252 gold. Buzzaroo matched the weight pound for pound with a 144 lb Red Deer, and AMKS, CrimTest1, and Jensen all brought home Red Deer within a few pounds of it. Across the realm, 10 players earned 32 tool level-ups between them β€” the unglamorous work that makes every future haul bigger.

At the top of today's board, πŸ— Build holds the lead at 563, with Crimson's City close behind at 507 and XM Nexus at 452 β€” Buzz Hollow 🏘️ just three points back of that. But prestige told a different story: SpudVille drew 12 landmark visits and gained 120 prestige, the most in the realm, edging out Crimson's City despite the latter hosting one more visitor. Fourth on the score board, first at the door.

Not One New Deal β€” and the Roads Still Roared

Zero new trade deals struck today, yet 162 shipments and 5,130 units moved along the realm's standing routes β€” plus four Red Deer that nearly broke the scales.

No delegation sat down at a table today. Not a single new trade deal was struck anywhere in the realm β€” and yet the roads were as loud as they have ever been. Across 70 routes, 162 shipments rolled out and back with 5,130 units of goods between them. The bargains of earlier days are doing the work now; the caravans need no fresh ink to keep moving. Quiet diplomacy, busy wheels.

In Davetopia, the Trading Post reached Level 4 β€” the counter where the crossbow finally goes on sale, and heavy game becomes a thing a hunter can actually go looking for. The town barely paused to admire it before breaking ground on the next Trading Post works. Meanwhile, in πŸš€βš‘πŸ‘‘πŸ’ŽπŸ„ Smurftopia, Home of the Legendary Large Smurfs πŸ„πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘βš‘πŸš€, the Market climbed to Level 4 as well, and every wage in the city felt it.

The hunt was the story of the day. Buzzaroo came home under a 142 lb Red Deer, the heaviest thing dragged out of the woods this past day β€” with CrimTest1 and Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ a single pound behind at 141 each, both Red Deer, an almost unbearable margin. Karen answered with a 140 lb Musk Ox, and Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ brought in a 129 lb Wild Boar. Four hunters, four pounds between them at the top.

On the score board, Buzz Hollow 🏘️ holds the day at 593, with XM Nexus at 448, SpudVille at 396, Crimson's City at 370, and πŸ— Build a heartbeat back at 369. But the visitors told a different tale: XM Nexus drew 7 visits to its landmarks for 61 prestige, the busiest doors in the realm β€” and every point of that lifts its citizens' wages.

Elsewhere, the workshops hummed: 31 tool levels earned across 8 players, hands getting steadily better at what they do. And Wolfkissed crossed over into Citizen β€” the tier you can never fall below again. No new faces arrived at the gates today, but the realm's 18 souls across 9 cities kept every forge, road, and hunting ground in motion. Welcome home, Wolfkissed.

The Forges Reach Level Four

Three cities cross into Industrial-era landmarks, β˜ƒ rises to Tycoon, and five hunters bring home the same great ram.

The realm woke to the sound of new machinery. In a single day, four cities raised a building to Level Four β€” the Industrial-era threshold β€” and you could feel the flood of it in the air. Buzz Hollow and SpudVille each finished a Hunter's Lodge, meaning their standing hunting parties now ride out on their own every hour. Crimson's City topped out its Market, lifting every citizen's wage, while over in Smurftopia the Bank threw open its doors to pay a fresh dividend.

And barely was the mortar dry before the scaffolds went back up. Buzz Hollow broke ground on its Lodge, Crimson's on its Market, and Smurftopia β€” never one for half measures β€” laid the foundations of both a Bank and a Market at once. Building here is a habit, not an event.

A quieter milestone drew the eye of the whole realm: β˜ƒ climbed to the rank of Tycoon, joining the small circle of licensed luxury importers now ten strong. It is the summit of the ladder, and it is reached only by those who have wandered far and stocked well.

No new deals were signed at the negotiating table, yet the roads never emptied β€” 5,130 units rolled across seventy routes in one hundred and sixty-two shipments, the standing caravans keeping every earlier promise. In the workshops, thirty-three separate tool masteries were earned across eight busy hands. And out in the wild, an uncanny convergence: Jensen, JΓΆrg, Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι›, Tyler, and AMKS each brought down a 120-pound Bighorn Sheep β€” five hunters, five great rams, one very good day for the tanners.

As dusk settled, the Daily Tops read close at the top: Crimson's City at 512, SpudVille a half-step behind at 495, and Buzz Hollow holding third on 436. SpudVille led the prestige surge with 120 points from a dozen landmark visits, though XM Nexus and Smurftopia kept the visitors' road well travelled too. Tyler, meanwhile, could not stop finding money in the street β€” three fat scratch tickets in a single day.

Davetopia Lights Its Furnaces

Five Level-4 producers and a Masterworks in a single day β€” Davetopia industrializes, while five hunters return with the same 120 lb ram.

Every so often a city stops building and starts becoming. Today that city was Davetopia. Its Mine, Coal Shaft, Clay Pit, Textile Mill and Farm all reached Level 4 β€” five producers crossing into the Industrial Era together β€” and then, as if to make the point, the Craftworks expanded into a Masterworks. Ground was broken on every one of those projects this same day. Davetopia went to bed a working town and woke up an engine.

Elsewhere the realm chose books. Buzz Hollow 🏘️, SpudVille and πŸš€βš‘πŸ‘‘πŸ’ŽπŸ„ Smurftopia, Home of the Legendary Large Smurfs πŸ„πŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘βš‘πŸš€ each raised a Library to Level 4, and Smurftopia's Trading Post reached Level 4 alongside it. In Crimson's City, the Hunter's Lodge climbed to Level 4 β€” the standing hunting parties ride out on their own now, and the pelts come home whether anyone is watching or not. SpudVille, watching all this, broke ground on a Lodge of its own.

Not a single new trade deal was signed this past day β€” and it hardly mattered. Along the agreements already standing, 162 shipments moved 5,130 units across 70 routes. That is the sound of an economy that no longer needs to be negotiated into motion. Seven players pushed their tools further while the caravans ran, earning 37 levels of mastery between them.

The hunt produced one of those coincidences no one plans. Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ, JΓΆrg, Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, Tyler and AMKS each came back from the high ground with a Bighorn Sheep, and each ram weighed exactly 120 lbs. Five hunters, five identical trophies, five stories that will not agree on which was the hardest won. Tyler had the luckier pockets too β€” five scratch tickets paid out big, the best of them 295 gold.

As the day drew on, Crimson's City held the top of the daily board with 428, Smurftopia close behind at 359 and πŸ— Build at 344. But the visitors told a different story: XM Nexus drew seven pilgrims to its landmarks and gained 85 prestige, more than any city in the realm. Sixteen souls, nine cities, three still out under open sky. The furnaces are lit.

Bighorns, Blueprints, and the Fourth Level

Five hunters brought down the same 120-pound bighorn, Davetopia's sawmill and quarry hit Level 4, and 5,130 units crossed the realm.

No one founded a city today, and no stranger came up the road. Sixteen of us: thirteen in cities, three still under wilderness canvas, nine of them Tycoons with their names on ledgers in towns they'll never live in. Nine cities, all of them already standing. So the realm turned inward β€” and spent the day tearing down its own scaffolding to build something bigger.

Davetopia went first for the throat of it. Sawmill and Quarry both to Level 4, the Industrial Era's opening chord β€” timber and stone at a scale the old wheels never dreamed of, and the crews were back at the foundations of both before the sawdust settled. Buzz Hollow took the other road: Bank, Market, and Farm, all three to the fourth level in a single day, and fresh ground broken on the Market and Farm again. Crimson's City raised its Library to Level 4 β€” the Insight that comes with it means no citizen there need ever stare at an empty queue β€” and then set stakes for a Hunter's Lodge of its own.

Out in Smurftopia, the Lodge itself reached Level 4. That is a particular kind of milestone: standing hunting parties now ride out on their own, every hour, and the pelts come home whether anyone is watching or not. The town promptly broke ground on a Trading Post, as though it had already decided what to do with the leather.

The roads were busy. Four new deals were struck, and across seventy routes the caravans made 162 crossings carrying 5,130 units between cities. Six players ground their tools sharper β€” 40 tool levels between them in a day β€” and GrumpyGecko crossed into Entrepreneur, the tier where you stop asking who'll found the next city and start being the answer.

And then the hunt. Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ, JΓΆrg, Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, Tyler, and AMKS each came down out of the high ground with a Bighorn Sheep β€” 120 pounds, all five, the same great ram to the pound. Jensen had the luck of the day twice over: a scratch ticket paid out 366 gold. In the standings XM Nexus holds the crown at 539, Davetopia's flood pushing it to 489, πŸ— Build at 444 β€” though Build's real prize was the day's prestige, seven travelers through its landmarks for 73 points, more than any city earned. Somebody, it seems, has made themselves worth the journey.

The Industrial Tide Rolls On

Trading Posts and Banks push into the Industrial Era, four hunters land the same trophy, and a jackpot lands in Las Vegas.

The forges of the realm did not rest. Across the map, more cities crossed into the Industrial Era: the Trading Posts of Buzz Hollow, Crimson's City, and SpudVille all reached Level 4, while the Bank of πŸ— Build did the same. In Smurftopia, the Farm and the Textile Mill both hit Level 4 on the same day β€” and its people, not content to rest, promptly broke ground on four fresh projects at once: another Farm, another Textile Mill, a Craftworks, and a Hunter's Lodge. A city in a hurry.

At the top of the day's standings, a genuine race. πŸ— Build ended the day at 417, but Davetopia pressed close behind at 408 β€” nine points between them after a full day's labor. Buzz Hollow held third at 289, with XM Nexus and Crimson's City rounding out the leaders.

No new trade pacts were signed, yet the caravans never stopped moving: 162 shipments rolled along 70 standing routes, carrying 5,114 units between cities. Steady hands kept the old bargains running while the builders built.

Out in the field, a curious coincidence: Jensen DisasterCthulhu, Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚), Tyler, and AMKS each brought home a 120 lb Bighorn Sheep β€” four hunters, four matching trophies from the high country. Buzzaroo added an 85 lb Chamois to the tally. And fortune smiled on Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) a second time, whose scratch ticket paid out a 846-gold jackpot; Jensen pocketed a tidy 222 of his own.

Meanwhile the pilgrims wandered. Landmark visits lifted prestige across five cities β€” πŸ— Build gained the most, 82 from ten visitors, with Smurftopia close behind on 68. A little exploring, a little richer for everyone at home.
