Davetopia Lights Its Furnaces

Davetopia raises its Town Hall to the Industrial Era as Level-4 producers roar to life across the realm.

The smoke rose over Davetopia today. Its Town Hall climbed to Level 4 β€” the Industrial Era β€” and with that single step the city crossed the threshold that only the most developed towns reach: the great flood of production, and the long ladder of upgrades it pays for. Davetopia now works on an industrial scale, and the realm has one more furnace burning.

It was a day of raised roofs everywhere. Crimson's City pushed a whole row of works to Level 4 β€” Coal Shaft, Clay Pit, Mine, Farm and Textile Mill all reaching the industrial mark β€” while Smurftopia did the same with its Coal Shaft, Clay Pit, Sawmill and Mine. SpudVille lifted its Farm, Coal Shaft and Clay Pit, and Buzz Hollow its Clay Pit and Textile Mill. Over at XM Nexus, the Bank reached Level 4; in πŸ— Build, a Level-4 Library now spills reputation on every soul who works there.

Two cities went a step further and expanded their guild halls: both Buzz Hollow and Crimson's City grew their Craftworks into a Level-2 Masterworks β€” the industrial engine that turns the raw flood into refined goods. Meanwhile the roads stayed busy, with two fresh deals struck and thousands of units moving across seventy trade routes.

When the day's ledger closed, πŸ— Build stood highest with 458 points, Davetopia close behind at 419, and SpudVille third at 394, with Crimson's City and Smurftopia filling out the leaders. Travellers kept the landmarks lively, too β€” XM Nexus drew nine visits for a 99-prestige surge, and πŸ— Build gathered eleven callers for 85 more.

Out in the wild it was a day for the big rams. Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ, Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ, Tyler and AMKS each brought home a 120-pound Bighorn Sheep, while Buzzaroo landed an 85-pound Chamois. And fortune smiled hardest on Tyler at the scratch table β€” five winning tickets in a row, the best a 475-gold haul. A lucky day to cap an industrious one.

The Furnaces Light in Three More Cities

The Industrial Era spreads: Crimson's City reaches Town Hall 4 while Buzz Hollow and SpudVille flood their first producers.

The great smoke of the Industrial Era drifted over more of the realm today. In Crimson's City, the Town Hall rose to its fourth level β€” the threshold of industry itself β€” while over in Buzz Hollow the Sawmill reached Level 4 and in SpudVille the Quarry did the same. Timber and stone are the keystones that fund everything, and these are exactly the wheels a city turns first. Not to be outdone, the town of πŸ— Build saw both its Hunter's Lodge and its Market climb to Level 4, throwing open the farthest hunting grounds to its people.

With the floodgates barely open, foundations were already being laid for the next round. Buzz Hollow and Crimson's City both broke ground on new Quarries, SpudVille answered with a fresh Sawmill, and πŸ— Build began another Market. Everywhere, the same quiet ambition: make more, and make it faster.

On the day's production ledger, Crimson's City held the realm by a comfortable margin with 2,539 points, trailed by SpudVille at 1,692, XM Nexus at 1,668, Buzz Hollow at 1,588, and Davetopia at 1,270. No new bargains were struck at the negotiating tables today, yet the old routes never rested β€” 5,110 units of goods rolled along 68 standing routes across 160 shipments. And the pilgrims kept coming to XM Nexus, whose landmarks drew 7 visits for 73 fresh prestige.

Out in the wilds, the trophy racks filled. Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ landed the day's heaviest catch, a 119-pound Bighorn Sheep, with AMKS a single pound behind on a 118-pound Red Deer. A trio of hunters then found the same nimble quarry in the high rocks β€” Jensen DisasterCthulhu Ԙ: βš”οΈπŸΉ and Buzzaroo each brought home an 85-pound Chamois, with Karen a hair behind at 84.

And fortune smiled hardest on Tyler, who tore through the scratch stalls with four handsome wins β€” 498, 299, 282, and 281 gold β€” while Κ‚Ι§Δ…Ε‹Ι› (Ζ–Δ…Κ‚ Ϋ·Ι›Ι Δ…Κ‚) πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ pocketed a tidy 292 of their own. A good day to be holding a ticket.
